Get to know us
Infinity File Compliance (IFC) is a team of Affordable Housing Professionals with over 20 years of experience and service in the apartment home industry. We are dedicated to helping management agents of low-income housing with their regulatory compliance needs. Many members of our team are certified in multiple regulatory programs and continue to maintain updated regulatory training within the industry. Although we primarily focus on CA Affordable Housing Programs, we also assist out-of-state management agents with federal programs, including HUD Multifamily projects.
We are often contacted to assist management agents with projects from file compliance to program compliance. We frequently work side by side with site staff to meet leasing and certification deadlines. After all, why hire a temporary employee with no experience when you can have an experienced IFC team member who can assist your project with their goals promptly?
Introducing new compliance regulatory requirements can be challenging. It is IFC’s goal to ensure our clients are comfortable with the latest changes and take ownership of their success in implementing these changes within their own company. We do this by offering a variety of compliance-based trainings for corporate and site-level employees. Though these training courses are informational only and do not provide a certified program designation, we still provide proof of attendance for your records.
If you have a compliance need and are looking for assistance for a small or large project, we are your team. We are based in Northern California and have traveled throughout the state assisting clients. We are here to help you, too!
Our mission
Infinity File Compliance is on a mission to provide honest, dependable, and accurate affordable housing guidance to our clients so that they can create a company culture that meets the industry’s needs—pushing for consistency and organization from the site to the corporate level. Let your files tell their story!

Elyssa Newberry
Founder / Compliance Consultant
Experience:
Elyssa has worked in the Affordable Housing Industry since 2005. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science. She has achieved her Certified Occupancy Specialist Master's, Management Occupancy Review Specialist, and Site Compliance Specialist designations, in addition to attending multiple local agency and industry trainings. For several years, she had worked on the AHMA Collaboration team with CTCAC & HCD as new policies, forms, and industry changes occurred. Since 2010, as a trainer of Affordable Housing, she has assisted hundreds of Property Management Staff in understanding the file compliance layers of their sites and how to prepare for multiple regulatory agency audits. Training is her favorite part of Affordable Housing because it helps site staff create confidence when processing certifications, collaborating with tenants, and passing their file audits.
In addition to training, Elyssa has helped many property teams and owners produce detailed plans to implement successful Initial Lease Ups, Acquisition Rehabs, and Resyndications in a timely manner with smooth investor file review reports. For existing properties that have undergone a recent management agent change or extensive staff changes, she can collaborate with the current staff to identify the necessary steps to bring their tenant files into compliance with regulatory requirements.
